Harmonic Evolution: BigBoss's Journey from Rap to Musical Mastery.
BigBoss has hung up the mic. Chakib BigBoss, formerly known as CHIKOSS, isn't just a musical tale; it's been five years since I embarked on the artistic journey of creating music. My love for the genres of hip-hop and trip-hop dates back to the tender age of 12, a passion that persisted until 2008 when I found my identity as a rapper.
My inaugural composition graced the walls of my college, offering lyrical insights into my class. It was during this period that I unearthed a profound sense of talent as my pen effortlessly crafted perfect rhymes and rhythmic intricacies. This marked my entry into the rap realm.
In 2009, the decision was made to birth my debut album, "Chkoun ana." Consisting of 10 tracks, this phase didn't witness my full compositional prowess; instead, I collaborated with arrangers to blend and amplify my voice. While it marked a humble beginning, the album served as a solid foundation, with gratitude extended to the influential music blog that guided me during those formative years.
The year 2010 unfolded the canvas for my second masterpiece, "Chikor." A pivotal moment surfaced as I discovered an additional talent—musical acuity. This revelation prompted me to compose my musical pieces, catapulting the album's success and expanding my audience.
By 2011, I dictated the genre narrative with the imposition of Electro-Hop. This artistic directive bore fruit in my third album, "CLUB-HOP," a fusion of rap and electro comprising 12 tracks that resonated with listeners and ushered in the era of BigBoss on radio waves.
The subsequent year, 2012, witnessed my desire to bid farewell to rap with a final opus, "MEDICAL." This compilation, featuring 16 songs spanning various styles, emerged as the pinnacle of success in my discography.
In 2013, my foray into Electro-Hop continued, producing tracks that garnered considerable acclaim. Throughout this journey, I remained a conscientious rapper, leveraging my lyrics to advocate for positive change. My approach eschewed the trappings of thug life, reflecting not only in my verses but also in my sartorial choices that retained a timeless and classic aesthetic.
Now, after half a decade immersed in the rap scene, I gracefully exit to embrace a new chapter in the realm of musical composition. My aspiration is set on achieving professionalism, guided by the blessings of nchallah.
